The avenue focuses on bringing forth issues in society- personal as well as interpersonal- into light, through various means such as informal discussions about books, movies, documentaries and other forms of art as well as providing a platform for expression of such art. It also aims to gather the achievements, progress and highlight the efforts of the club through the monthly newsletters.

Project Ibaarat- It is a podcast where every month our Directors select a beautiful poem, read it out to our listeners and together try to understand the intricacies of the the poet's writing. It can be streamed on Spotify

The Medicrew Bookclub- It is a group of almost 100 bookworms from across the country that get together every month to discuss their love for books, share and receive book recommendations.

 

The Medicrew Gazette- it is a monthly magazine that compiles the creative sides of our our fellow Rotaract members. Be it poems comics, memes, limerics, essays, drawings or photographs. Our members have got it all covered.

Whats serves as a better break from the piles of textbooks we read than yelling at the TV when your favourite character dies? We've all had moments imagining better lives for our characters after the heartbreak of their canon storyline. We build up different paths for them in our heads and store them there with no outlet to share our stories. This was the reason we decided to start Movie

Mania so our members can get a good break from academics to discuss and fantasize about their favourite movies with people who share the same love and passion for these movies.

Project Kitaab 2.0

In collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Bombay Seaface,Polson Primary and Breach Candy hospital trust,we managed a vaccination drive in Satirje Village,Alibaug and successfully vaccinated 1034 people. Our volunteers helped in history taking, loading of vaccines and logging of vaccinations.In conclusion, it was a successful drive benefiting the community as well as our volunteers.

the Editorials Avenue of Rotaract Club of Medicrew decided to conduct a book donation drive to benefit the children of rural India. The book donation drive was conducted in collaboration with Goodwill Pune, an NGO based in Pune, Maharashtra. All the books collected would be sent to children from extremely underprivileged backgrounds in rural India.
